Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) to use the Services. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

2. Account & sign-in

The App requires sign-in to use core features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Microphone permission & speech features

The App requires microphone access to support speaking practice. If you disable microphone permission, some or all speaking features may not function.

4. Credits

The Services use a credit system to power paid features. Credits may be granted as part of free usage and/or included with a subscription plan. Credits have no cash value and are not redeemable for money.

• Free credits: new users receive 30 free credits.
• Talk usage: talk time may deduct credits (for example, 3 credits per talk minute).
• Score & feedback: generating a score and feedback may deduct credits (for example, 1 credit per action).

Credit requirements, conversion rates, and included amounts may change over time as we improve the Services. We will display current usage and balances in the App.

5. Subscriptions

The App offers optional auto-renewable subscriptions that provide credits and unlock access to paid features.

• Monthly Pro: includes 1000 credits per month.
• Quarterly Pro: includes 3000 credits per quarter.

Subscription terms (including availability, included credits, and feature access) are shown in the App and in the App Store purchase flow at the time of purchase.

• Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscription automatically renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings.

Refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with Apple's policies.

6. Session storage

Saved sessions may be stored for up to 3 months after your account becomes inactive (unsubscribed), after which they may be deleted as part of routine data retention and system maintenance.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Services. For example, you must not:

• Use the Services for illegal activities.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, bypass, or interfere with the Services, security, or billing systems.
• Upload or share content that infringes intellectual property rights or violates the privacy or rights of others.
• Harass, threaten, or promote hate or violence toward others.

8. User content

You may provide content through the App (such as voice recordings, transcripts, and conversation inputs) ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content, but you grant us a limited license to host, store, process, and display it as necessary to operate and improve the Services (including generating AI responses and feedback).

You represent that you have the rights needed to provide your User Content and that it does not violate any law or third-party rights.

9. AI output & educational purpose

The Services may generate automated responses, suggestions, and feedback. These outputs are provided for educational purposes and may be inaccurate or incomplete. You are responsible for how you use the outputs.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services if you violate these Terms or if required to protect the Services, our users, or others. You may stop using the Services at any time.

11. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties and will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we may provide notice within the App or by other reasonable means. Continued use of the Services after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
